Ginger Vadodara RCR

For 8 days at Ginger RCR, Vadodara, I was attending a training programme at NACIN, Vadodara, and had a comfortable, hassle-free stay. The helpful, courteous, professional staff made a big difference over a longer visit. Rooms were neat, well maintained, adequately spacious, and effectively air-conditioned. Bathrooms were clean, with good water pressure and hot water available quickly. They promptly provided essentials such as a shave kit, dental kit, and iron on request, and the gym was useful during an extended stay. Cabs, including Uber, were usually available within 2 minutes, which made daily travel easy. The location also worked well, with lots of nearby restaurants and a wide choice of cuisines. The in-house restaurant's buffet breakfast had decent variety and quality, though it was slightly costlier than nearby options. It's a reliable, clean, comfortable choice for short or extended stays, especially for official travel and training programmes. I'd definitely recommend it.

The location is a real plus, and the breakfast and the dinners I tried were decent. The front desk was reasonably cordial too, but getting room service took repeated requests. The first two rooms they showed me were tiny and smelled very bad. They blamed the odor on the AC. I had to make it clear how unhappy I was before they offered a somewhat larger room, which was decent enough. See the rooms in person before booking. I really don't want to stay here again, and this would be near the bottom of my list.

Handy for a business trip. The rooms are small, but very clean, and the food is good. The front desk was helpful, and the Wi-Fi speed was reasonable. Restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance, and getting an Uber is easy too.

The main drawback is parking: there's no dedicated, separate parking area, so check on alternatives before arriving by car. The Standard Double Room felt noticeably cramped for two people, especially for a longer stay or with much luggage. Still, the room was clean and good, and the hotel's location is excellent for reaching local attractions or business centers. Breakfast options were good, and the food overall was commendable.
