Hotel Telikos Silver

After I paid half the amount in advance, my flight was unexpectedly cancelled, so I asked for at least a 50% refund. The manager blocked my number instead of helping and told me to “go and complain to the badminton association.” That was rude and unprofessional, and showed no sense of responsibility or customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place. The rate had first been quoted as ₹1680, then raised to ₹2000 the next day with the claim that rooms weren’t available, even though we were still given the same double-occupancy room.

The room had thoughtful extras, including a minibar, coffee and tea station, and a flat-screen TV with plenty of channels. The bathroom was spotless, with good toiletries and fresh towels. The room itself was clean, well kept, and roomy enough to feel comfortable, with a soft bed, fresh linens, and fluffy pillows that made for a good night's sleep. Good value for the price. I had a pleasant stay at HOTEL TELIKOS SILVER and would consider returning, for business or leisure.

Beware if you book through a third party. They accept the booking and then shift you at the last minute to a lower-standard property. This happened to me twice. The HOTEL gives different reasons, like maintenance or being fully booked, when moving you. If it’s full, why does it still show as available to book? What’s the point of booking early? These tricks left me dealing with a bad situation.

The staff were friendly and the lift was fine, but the bathroom wasn’t great and the policies felt strange. We needed to check in at 6:30 am instead of 11:30, and they asked for an extra 1200, so we cancelled the online booking and checked in as a new entry. We were only in the room for a few hours in the morning and later at night, while visiting a nearby mandir for a function. The AC was fine, and we chose this place because there was no hotel nearby. Autos to the station are easy to get. I’d stay elsewhere, or only use this for a few hours if there’s no other option.
