Alcove Beach Resort

Right on the beach, with a lovely view and friendly staff. There’s a pool, pool table, TT table, and room amenities like a dryer and fridge. Delivery apps can bring food here, and the main spots in Vagator are within walking distance. Breakfast had a nice spread for families. Service can be a little slow sometimes.

We stayed three nights with our pet at Alcove, which we chose knowing the rooms are extremely small. The food was okay, and the price felt reasonable. We wanted a place overlooking the beach, and it was fine for that. You can go to the beach anytime and enjoy beautiful sunsets, with some major pubs nearby too.

Alcove’s location is a big plus. It’s right on Ozran (mini vagator) beach, so it feels like you have access to a private beach. Mini vagator beach is clean, and swimming or playing in the ocean is comfortable. Most rooms have an ocean view. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have the amenities you need. Breakfast was tasty with more than enough variety, and the staff were excellent and helpful. Restaurants, clubs, and shops are all close by. There’s a nearby club that plays music late into the night, and some rooms may hear it. Ask reception about the noise before booking, and they’ll assign a room that doesn’t get it. The resort suits families, babies, and couples. We came with a toddler, and they provided banana and khichadi for the baby at no extra charge.

The breakfast spread was a real highlight during our three days at Alcove Beach Resort, with a huge variety. I’d recommend booking breakfast, and the other food was great too. The staff were always welcoming, polite, and helpful, which made our family trip comfortable. We had a fantastic time and would love to return.
