We were with friends and our little ones at Glass House on the Bay in Goa from July 19-22, 2025. The Chapora River view was stunning, especially in the monsoon, and the villa was peaceful while still close to popular North Goa spots. Hiten, the villa manager, responded quickly and was helpful. The team arranged a baby tub, high chair, and cot with some coordination, and they also put together basic birthday decor and cakes for my wife. Breakfast was consistently tasty and satisfying. The villa didn’t match the photos in some respects, and the two upstairs bedrooms were smaller than the pictures suggested. During monsoon, we had leaks in several places, including the master bedroom. Staff were undertrained and slow to respond, which was hard with babies. Coordination was chaotic across bookings, concierge, FnB, and villa operations. We had to repeat requests and got conflicting answers, leaving us to act as go-between. One night we paid INR 2,300 per person for in-villa dinner. The pizza was soggy and the rest of the food just okay, not worth the price. It was disappointing to have to tell the chef not to reheat pizza in a microwave. At this premium price, other Goa villas may offer better value and service. If your main priority is a stunning view during monsoon, this place delivers. For a seamless high-end experience across the board, especially at this price, I think other villas may be a better choice.
