Pappi Chulo Hostel

Meeting people was the best part of my stay at Paapi Chulo Backpacker Hostel. I travel solo often, and it was easy to chat with people from around India and abroad and make a few friends. The common areas are good for sitting around and hanging out, and there’s usually something going on to keep the place lively. The hostel is also conveniently close to popular spots, cafes, and beaches, making it easy to get out and explore. The dorms and shared spaces were clean and looked after, and the beds were comfortable after a day out in Goa. Staff were warm and helpful from check-in, which went smoothly. The welcoming, social atmosphere made this a memorable trip for me. I’d consider staying here again, especially as a solo traveler who enjoys backpacker culture.

Good location, affordable, nice staff, food and vibe. There’s always a party, and the room was spacious with cold AC, fast WiFi, hot running water, and a separate toilet, bathroom, and washbasin, so nobody had to fight over them. I could live there forever. Sleeping was really hard, though. People came and went at 2, 3, 4, and 5 am, talked loudly, and someone vomited in the bathroom. When I asked them to keep it down, they said, “it’s a party hostel.” Party outside, not in the room. The hostel rule says quiet hours are 2 am to 8 am, so please tell everyone about it at check-in.

It was easy to connect with other guests while still feeling comfortable, and the artistic spaces are beautifully designed. I had a memorable stay at Pappi Chulo. Staff were warm, attentive, and ready to help, and the food and bar were great. Being near Vagator Beach is another plus. It’s a stylish place I’d recommend.

At Pappi Chulo, the parties and music can go until morning, sometimes as late as 9 AM. If you want a quiet break, book a resort; this is a party hostel. I loved the energy and made lots of new friends without feeling much need to go out, with tasty food and great drinks right there. The staff treated me like family. Karan at the bar is a gem, and Chikky, the owner, is always around to help. It’s one of the wildest, most unforgettable hostels I’ve stayed in. I’ll stay again when I visit Goa. For crazy vibes, lasting memories, and a great party experience, this is the place. Satya (Proud customer)
