OYO 78161 Aaram Beach Resort

The staff were really humble, and during the corona time they looked after us pretty well. The resort was neat and clean, with a pleasant ambience and good-sized rooms. There’s a lovely nature view from the balcony and an amazing terrace view for photos. The washroom was the part I didn’t like. Parking may not be enough for more than 3 or 4 cars, and the road to the resort is good but very narrow, as is common in Kerala. Decent place to stay if the washroom won’t bother you.

We showed our booking confirmation in the app, but the reception guy said he had no confirmation from his boss and wouldn’t honor the rate listed on booking .com. He shouted at us and was arrogant. That was a strange response in all my travels. Worst place to stay in kannur.

The rooms are decent for the price, and we had good service from very helpful staff. The location is amazing, really close to the beach.

There’s parking, a spacious place for a big family to hang out, roomy rooms, and friendly hosting. The drawbacks are small bed cots and no beach view. Mobile signal is weak across major networks including Bsnl, idea, Jio, and Airtel. Room facilities are sparse: a foldable table, plastic chair, small cot, and almirah.
