Good Luck Home Stay by Pepy Rooms

We were charged ₹2000 because checkout ran an hour late, even though an elephant had blocked the road on our return from Athirapilly–Valparai. There weren't other guests waiting for the room, so as tourists new to the area, we expected some grace time. That charge felt unfair for a delay outside our control, and the staff's attitude made it worse. We stayed at Good Luck Home Stay, Valparai for two days, and both the room service person and reception staff were disrespectful. The experience was disappointing.

The view from the balcony is lovely, but the room itself is average. The bedsheets are really bad.

The rooms are fine if you're after a budget stay in Valparai. There was a bad smell in the bedsheets, the sofa, and the room itself.

Nice lodge, good experience, and affordable rates. The service on the road was good too. Parking needs improvement.
