Fabhotel The Shivaay Palace

The location is both beautiful and convenient, and this was my second stay at Saroja Heritage Hotel. The rooms are very good and thoughtfully decorated, and the staff are extremely polite. Anubhav and Shivani were especially cooperative. I’ll stay here again next time I visit Varanasi.

Parking at the hotel was a relief after we drove 800 kms from our city. Its central location made it easy to see the main attractions by e-rickshaw. We stayed at Hotel Saroja Heritage in Kashi for 3 nights, and the rooms were good. We had to ask several times for basic items like dental kits and towels, which weren’t provided promptly. Room service also fell short. After such a long drive, we were disappointed that the hotel wouldn’t provide a bucket of water to wash our very dirty car. The location and parking are convenient, but service and amenities need improvement. 3/5 Stars.

Shivani guided us during our Banaras darshan and made it a memorable experience. We stayed at SAROJA Heritage Hotel for 3 days, and the spacious, clean rooms were very comfortable. The staff were polite, courteous, and helpful the whole time. A comfortable, pleasant stay, highly recommended.

The food from urga cafe was delicious, with lots of choices. We tried pasta, curd rice, paneer, zeera aloo, raita, dosa, idli, and vada. The spacious, tidy rooms and washrooms were beautiful too. This small boutique hotel sits in an old heritage property in the heart of the city, and there’s no lift. Its location deserves bonus marks: Kashi Vishvanath temple, the market, and famous food joints are all a comfortable distance away. E rickshaw is easy to find at the gate. The city, temple area, and ghats can be very crowded, but once you’re out of the crowds, the hotel is just a throw away.
