I had my engagement here on Oct 5 2025 and had a great time overall. The rooms were nice, and the food and general service were top notch. The ground-floor banquet hall looked grand, with its high ceiling and multiple chandeliers, something extremely rare in Varanasi and nearby areas. Deepak ji was cooperative throughout and made sure guests were comfortable, with the decorations and other arrangements ready on time. Shailendra ji and the reception staff were always courteous and helpful, even at odd hours. Room service stayed prompt despite the heavy workload, with two functions happening that day. There were a few problems during dinner. Starters came slowly, so many guests got them quite late and cold. I understand there was a dinner rush around 10pm and food ran short briefly, but better preparation could have prevented that. Most of the staff had left by 10:30pm even though dinner was planned until 11, and there was no table set for the groom and bride. By then, the food was cold.

We arrived late at night in 5deg temperatures and spent the whole night without room heaters. We had rented three rooms, and it was the worst hotel stay experience for us. The service staff were polite and kind, but management was extremely irresponsible and unresponsive, especially the GM. Mr. Deepak, the GM, didn't even return a courtesy call. The place was horrible, and the pictures are misleading. Please don't stay here.

The reception welcomed us nicely, and the staff were all good-natured and knew how to look after guests. The hotel was really one of the good places to stay. The rooms were neat and clean, and I liked that it was newly built.

I found Gulab Kothi, Varanasi comfortable, with clean, well-kept rooms and tasty, hygienic food that had a good variety. The staff were polite, helpful, and ready to assist. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it for a comfortable, memorable visit to Varanasi.
