The room was far too expensive at $20 for one night given its condition. It's a very basic one-star hotel with large rooms that weren't very clean, and a strong smell, especially in the toilet. There was no window, and the AC didn't work properly, though the fan was fine. The receptionists were rude to guests and only nice when asking for feedback as you leave.

At Hotel Dolphin Grand in Varanasi, my family and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spotless and well maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The dining and amenities were top-notch too. We highly recommend it for a memorable stay.
