Hotel Evara

My stay at Hotel Evara, Ashok Vihar, Varanasi was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, despite traveling often. From check-in through checkout, the whole process was a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The room was dirty, with dust, stains, bad smells, and unhygienic bathrooms. The bed linen seemed unchanged, towels were worn out, and basic amenities were missing or broken. When I asked for service, staff were very slow or didn’t respond. They came across as indifferent, untrained, and unhelpful. The manager was rude, arrogant, abusive, and inconsiderate. Raising an issue brought hostility and sarcasm instead of help, and he seemed to make problems worse rather than resolve them. Professionalism was absent. I felt my money and time were wasted, and I left with a bitter impression. Varanasi has lovely places and hospitality elsewhere, but Hotel Evara felt like an insult to tourism. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else. Rating: 0/5, a disgrace to hospitality.
