Hotel Xenia

The cleaning staff were very good, and the reception was good too, but the senior staff didn't seem to take the problems seriously. We arrived as four, my husband, brother, child, and me, and were first given a very dirty room. The bed, bathroom, and sheets weren't clean, and the staff didn't seem to know how to deal with customers. Mr Mohit came and gave us only 5001, even though I said we had a booking and there was nothing there. We were then given 5002, but nobody came to attend to us. There was no Wi-Fi, and the facilities didn't feel worth the money. The bed experience was very bad. Please think twice before booking this pathetic hotel, don't go.

Our evening at the Zenia Hotel restaurant was frustrating, and the food quality was below standard. We ordered Hakka Noodles, but the server seemed confused and wrote it down as "Hakka Wabka." We also asked specifically for canned Coke, then got a different drink in a glass. The staff came across as poorly trained and unprofessional, and the communication problems ruined the meal. I expected better from a hotel restaurant and wouldn't recommend eating here unless the service and staff training improve significantly.

I visit varanasi often, and every time I stay at xenia hotel, the staff are friendly and give great customer service. They've made each visit comfortable, and I'll stay here again when I'm back in varanasi.

The lady at reception was nice and helped us with a lot, but the rest of the stay was a big disappointment. The rooms stank, and the floors were sticky like sugar candy. Nobody was ready to help with room service, and housekeeping had a real attitude. Out of five, I'd give the overall experience zero. I won't recommend staying here, and I was very disappointed I booked it. It wasn't a good stay at all.
