I was surprised by how peaceful and safe the property felt despite being close to the highway, and getting there was easy. There’s plenty of parking, it’s about 8 kms from Asi Ghat, and taxi service contacts were provided. For meals, the host suggested home-cooked food delivery, with Zomato as another option. The hosts were a real highlight. They welcomed me warmly, offered tea without my asking, and even provided a clothes drying stand on their own. The property was spotless, and my room had a comfortable bed, clean linen, air conditioning and a fan. The toilet was clean and had modern fittings. There’s also a washing machine, which was handy. I found the homestay comfortable, clean, and convenient, and the hosts’ service made it feel like very good value. I’d gladly stay again when I’m back in Varanasi.

The food came from a nearby tiffin service, and it was homemade, fresh, hot, and delivered on time. Krimson Bricks Homestay is also near the highway, which worked well for us. I felt at home as soon as I arrived. The hosts were kind and attentive, and the room was cozy, clean, and decorated with traditional Indian touches. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had both hot and cold water. For a genuine homely stay with family in Varanasi, I’d recommend Krimson Bricks Homestay.
