OYO 22703 Jee's Stay

This was the worst hotel experience I've had. They pressured us to leave a five-star review, there was no water in the washroom, and the bathroom was tiny. We were told the hotel had facilities it didn't have, including parking, and they also pressured us to pay some money to the staff. The location wasn't good either. Please don't go. They get visitors to write the five-star reviews themselves.

Mr. Pandey greeted us warmly, like guests of honor, but after check-in his attitude became, essentially, that this was all we could expect for the money. One staff member from Mirzapur was good, and I'm sure he'll find something better soon. The place might suit bachelor men who only need somewhere to leave their luggage, explore the city, and relax at night. I wouldn't recommend it for families or women. The room photos on Google didn't match what we were shown, and the fourth-floor rooms should be avoided. I don't know about the second floor. The price we agreed on over the phone changed after we'd taken our luggage out of the car. WiFi and the TV both didn't work. When I raised the TV issue, he said he knew and was giving us WiFi instead, but that wasn't working either. The geyser was out too. The parking he boasts about isn't really worth anything in this transport area, where you park wherever there's a spot. There are only three spaces in front of the hotel, within camera range, and he allows parking there only during check-in. Later he told us to park out front beyond his camera coverage. He charged us for water, saying he only had Kinley and Bisleri. A tea stall across the street sold tea for 10 rupees, while he charged 40.

At midnight, after I'd booked by phone, the owner refused to give us a room and offered a hall instead. When we arrived, it turned out to be a gym with other men in it, while I was there with my family and children. He hadn't sent photos of the hall beforehand. The staff were rude, and the owner was rude too. He also kept my advance payment. I would never choose this hotel again.

The owner and attendant were rude, and the service was awful. There was no proper room cleaning, and the sheets were filthy. The bed sheets and mattresses smelled terrible, as did the rooms, although they were adequate in size. The place was deeply unhygienic: stained walls, broken bathroom tiles, a toilet worse than a public one, and mosquitoes and cockroaches in both the room and bathroom. Cleanliness was zero. It's not suitable for families.
