Royal Livin

After quite a bit of research, I chose this hotel and stayed for four days. The rooms are spacious, nicely designed, and very well maintained, just as they look in the photos. They feel almost twice the size of typical hotel rooms, with lots of room to relax. It’s in a quiet, upscale area with good connections and less than 2 km from the ghats, so temples and other nearby sights are convenient to reach. The owner personally checks that details are taken care of, and the warm, welcoming staff made me feel at home. The food was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. This has become my go-to hotel for future visits.

We booked from 9th april to 11th april, and the hotel was worth the price. I was travelling with my senior citizen mom, so having a lift was useful. There’s good parking and tar road access, and the in-house restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff were polite and willing to help, and reception was always accessible. Our room was very clean, with housekeeping every day. I chose it based on Google reviews and wasn't disappointed.

We booked a room for two days about a week ahead, then travelled straight from the airport to the hotel. On arrival, they said the room wasn't available and claimed we'd cancelled. Without explaining anything else, the man kept pushing us to look at a premium room. They should have told us beforehand if our room wasn't available. It felt like a scam to push people into a more expensive room. If you tried to bargain, they would tell you to go without a bill so they could save money on GST. If you care about your money and peace of mind, don't book here.

The area is peaceful, with no city chaos, and the hotel is right next to isckon temple of varanasi. It’s close to assi ghat and several prominent eateries. The location gets a 10/10 from me. We travelled with our toddler, and the very cooperative staff helped with the baby's needs when we asked. They even gave us a souvenir at checkout, a really nice gesture. The food was very good, and you can try any option on the menu. It's a budget-friendly place, and I had a very nice stay.
