The distance from the main temples was a real drawback, and getting to Kashi Mahal meant dealing with a very narrow, potholed road where two vehicles could not pass and reversing was difficult. Inside, the rooms were in poor condition and the door locks, including some main doors, were missing or did not work. The bathroom doors also would not lock properly, so the place felt unsafe. The elevator was unpredictable, with a stuck button and frequent failures that left us taking the stairs. Staff were hard to communicate with and gave unclear answers when we needed help. The restaurant bathroom was stained, smelly, and very unhygienic. Food was only average. Poor upkeep and service made the stay unpleasant.

There is no parking, so you have to leave your vehicle in the narrow alley, where the lack of space causes a lot of chaos. The rooms looked worse than the photos and did not seem as clean; people booking online, myself included, were given rooms that were not very good. I paid for breakfast with my booking, but it was so disappointing that I skipped it on the second day. Agoda showed me reviews and ratings that seemed false, and the aggressive marketing persuaded me to book at a fairly high price. I don't think the room is worth more than Rs 1000-1500.

The location is the one real advantage. The rooms were only okay, and the photos give a misleading impression. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 am, so there was no tea or coffee delivered to the room before then. I ended up walking to the main road with a flask to get tea. The floors had been cleaned before we arrived, but they felt sticky. I also doubt the hotel's reviews are genuine.

The service and management were awful, and the hotel felt poorly maintained. We arrived at 8 PM, after check-in time, but our supposed suite still wasn't ready or clean, so we had to wait in the lobby again. Before that, we'd stood outside for over 30 minutes because nobody came to take our luggage. The bed was uncomfortable, with a very soft, spongy mattress that felt like you might sink into it. The washroom latch was broken. Breakfast had only 1-2 choices and was not worth it; nearby restaurants are 400-500 meters away. The hotel is also far from the main tourist attractions. This was stressful and not worth the price.
