Hotel Ashoka Grand

The location is convenient, with nearby markets and transport easy to reach. At Hotel Ashoka Grand, I found the rooms spacious, clean, and well maintained, and had a very comfortable stay. The staff were professional, polite, and always willing to help. It was good value for money, and I'd happily stay here again. I definitely recommend it for a comfortable, hassle-free visit.

It’s a budget-friendly hotel near the railway station. Room service was good, and the staff behaved well too. The one weakness was the lack of professionalism: at checkout, after I’d paid all the dues, I still had to show them the payments I’d made.

People booking online are given rooms on the third floor, and there’s no lift, so be careful before booking. The rooms provided are completely different from the ones shown online. The bedsheet was stained all over, and hygiene was poor.

I was only able to spend three hours here before leaving for another hotel. I had arrived at 6 am because my train was late, fortunately, rather than the previous day as planned. The room was tiny and unclean, and they gave us one dirty, used towel for two people. There was no bottled water, kettle, or intercom. I’m a senior citizen, and they put me on the first floor even though there’s no lift. The staff weren't professional and didn't even come to show us the rooms. When I spoke to them, they looked at each other as though no one was responsible. One person told me to contact the owner and gave me the owner's number. This was a very bad experience, and I request people to avoid booking this hotel. I had booked it for December 20, 2025. There was nothing grand about it.
