Sunrise Lodge

The view is the big draw here. It's near the ghat, and the balcony view is amazing, with a great window too. Key areas and attractions are all within 200-300m or less, and the in-house restaurant food was good. My single room wasn't wide, but it wasn't too narrow either, and the hosts were helpful with good service. Very pocket friendly and worth it. Would visit again soon.

A real plus was being so close to the ghats when we went for our bath in the Ganga River. We also appreciated staying with the family, now in its seventh generation in this 250-year-old building. There's a small temple to Lord Ganesha inside, worshipped several times a day. Thank you for the wonderful moments in your home and the outstanding service, with Indian standards of comfort.

The view of the ghat was the highlight for me, especially waking up to the peaceful scenery. Shops, eateries, and local spots are all just a short walk away, so the location is very convenient. The rooms are simple, with basic facilities, but comfortable enough. It's a decent, budget-friendly lodge if you want a good location and a beautiful view.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and had a really good time in a family-like environment. Big thanks to Rahul bhaiya, Santosh bhaiya and Vinod bhaiya for taking care of every need. Our check in time was 10:00 a.m but we arrived early, and Vinod bhaiya opened the main gate for us at 5 a.m in winter. There's a common washroom and waiting area where we rested for a while. The common balcony has beautiful views of the river Ganges, sunrise, sunset and meet ghat. The room price is very affordable for the view, location, and service.
