The owner was very friendly, and the hotel was nice. I stayed for two days while visiting Varanasi. The room was cozy and comfortable, and I had a good stay. Recommended.

The rooms at Tara guest house were spacious and clean, and the staff did a great job making sure we had what we needed. The manager and owner especially went above and beyond to help us feel safe and happy. It's a great place, away from the business.

The bathroom had a bad smell and really needs to be checked. It was also very cold at night in January, and there were no heaters. They only gave us more dirty blankets, so we were freezing and got sick. The cleanliness felt like Indian standard of cleanliness. If you can, spend more for a room somewhere else.
