Vishwa Deva Homestay

The rooms we booked were spacious and clean, and the owner treated us kindly and generously. But the employees were rude to one person in our group, and we really disliked their behavior and service. The management didn't live up to the rating or reviews, and what could have been a great stay wasn't. Getting to the sights may be inconvenient. Shared public transport is readily available in and around the area, so it should be fine if you don't mind using it. But for us, traveling on a budget and hoping to walk to the spots without relying on shared transport, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Viswa deva Home stay is in Rathyatra near Annapurna tel(oil) Dharmshala, and the railway station is about 15 to 20 minutes away. I went with my family and young child and felt safe and comfortable there. Abhinav Ghosh Dada is a very humble, gentle, cooperative and polite host. You realize that when you meet and talk with him. The staff were also very helpful. Pradeep ji and another staff member whose name I've forgotten both helped us a lot, and they even let us make food for my baby. Room service was very good. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi who wants a homestay. Thanks for your help, Abhinav Da. If I visit again, I'll try to stay there.

We spent four nights at Vishwa Deva Homestay, and the whole stay was comfortable and pleasant. The room was cozy but roomy enough for me and three friends. The room and bathroom stayed exceptionally clean, and extra foldable beds were brought promptly when we asked. Abhinav Sir was humble, kind, easy to talk to, and clear with information. He kept in touch to make sure we had what we needed, and the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout. The location is handy too, with both Dashashwamedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple around 2 km away. I'd definitely recommend it to visitors.

We were grateful to the owner for showing us around the city and connecting us with Manish, a reliable auto driver who is always present at the Homestay. Manish took us to the important temples and ghats, and also to Sarnath, so we managed to complete our sightseeing plan nicely. The rooms and washroom were clean, and the AC worked well. There are a couple of nearby pure vegetarian restaurants with different options, useful for a longer stay. Prices are affordable and it suits families. Its best feature is the location, with E rickshaws readily available to reach any temple or ghat.
