The pool and exterior looked clean, inviting, and well kept, and the garden and facade made a nice first impression for a budget place in Kollam. The rooms were a different story: dusty, stained, and seemingly unmaintained for years. The bathrooms had leaky taps, moldy tiles, poor drainage, and hardly any hot water. The bed felt like a wooden plank, and the mattress was worn out. The old AC was noisy, slow to start cooling, and still couldn't lower the temperature after an hour in the Kerala heat. Service was below average, with slow responses and inconsistent housekeeping, and staff didn't seem concerned about guest comfort. Breakfast choices were limited and not fresh. I'd skip it unless your budget is extremely tight and you can get a room for 400-500 rupees.

We came from the UK and originally booked for five nights, but stayed six. For the price, this is excellent, so don't put too much stock in the poor reviews. The pool is nice in the sun, and the location is great, just minutes from the cliff and plenty of places to eat. Internet worked well. There were occasional power cuts, but they never lasted more than five minutes and didn't spoil our stay.

The room service was painfully slow, unresponsive, and unprofessional, and the rooms weren't properly maintained. Management was poor too. At other resorts, they clean everything when you check out, but here we had to clean and leave the room ourselves. This was one of my worst experiences, and I strongly advise people not to go. It wasn't worth the money or time.

The swimming pool was the only thing I found satisfactory. The hotel was very expensive for what it offered, with terrible service and rude receptionist behaviour. When we asked for drinking water, they didn't provide it properly and wouldn't even give us water. A very bad experience.

The host was really kind, and the resort is beautiful, close to Black Beach and the cliff. I thought it was worth every penny, and it definitely won't disappoint. Please give this place a try.
