Hotel Lulu Park by OYO Rooms

I'm highly disappointed. Basic needs for a stay weren't met: hygiene and maintenance were lacking, and basic amenities were broken and unclean. When we tried to explain the problems we faced there, the owner wouldn't listen.

My car was damaged in the parking lot while the owner's kids were playing around it, and nobody took responsibility. The caretaker would insist on “helping” and then demand an excessive amount of money afterward. The owner seemed greedy, charging too much for dirty rooms when cleaner, better options are available nearby. The room itself was filthy. Dirt and hair had been pushed under the cot, the pillows were black with dirt under the covers, the TV didn't work, the AC barely cooled, and the bathroom was unhygienic. Definitely not recommended.

Several amenities were malfunctioning, and the poor service spoiled our visit to Velankanni so much that we left early. The owner's attitude was unacceptable, with too much focus on money and too little attention to service or maintenance. I came as a traveler with certain expectations, but my recent stay at your establishment did not meet them. I can't recommend this place to other travelers.

After we arrived, they hesitated to give us a room, saying they hadn't received payment for our OYO booking through MakeMyTrip. Only after a lot of arguing did they give us a room on the third floor, and it had no AC even though we'd booked an AC room. The bathrooms were in very poor shape too, with no door lock and a broken flush. Please don't choose this place for a stay in Velankanni.
