The restaurant is worth a lunch visit, and the thalis were yummy. The hotel has turkeys and other birds, a pool, a spa, and a massage chair. Families might enjoy that, and there’s a driver’s lounge so you don’t need a separate room for drivers. They also accommodated our late check-in and check-out requests. The location is good, though it isn’t walkable to the church. Some practical things let the stay down. Maintenance needs attention: the pedal bins didn’t work, the showers need descaling, the bathroom door needs repair, and the room door could use another lock. The amenities kit wasn’t replenished, there was no dental kit, and the shampoo wasn’t worth using. They wouldn’t restock the snack bar even when asked. Breakfast was poor in both taste and variety. Coffee is only available at set times, there’s no milk at night, and the restaurant shuts between meal hours. Food other than breakfast was good. The standards are fairly close to places like mary view and clinton park, and prices are similar, so this could suit you if you don’t want a church view. mgm next door is another good option if you can spend more or plan ahead. The stay wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t book again.

The staff were friendly and polite and looked after us well throughout our stay at Queens Inn. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the food was fresh, tasty, and good quality. We had a pleasant time here, and it worked well for both accommodation and meals.

This is my second visit, and it’s one of my favourite places to stay in Velankanni. The rooms are clean and neat, and there’s hot water all day and night. The pool is open from 8am to 6pm. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner cost extra. The hotel is on the main road and far from the church, so you’ll need your own vehicle or to book a cab to get there.

Our marriage function at Hotel Queens Inn went wonderfully. The spacious halls, ambiance, and lovely decorations made it feel special, and our guests were impressed by the restaurant’s food and its quality and variety. Manager Somon deserves a big thank you. He helped from the planning right through to the final arrangements, taking care of every detail in a professional but friendly way. His support kept things smooth and stress-free. We were very happy with the service and hospitality, and recommend Hotel Queens Inn for weddings, family functions, and other special occasions.

The breakfast was awful and didn’t seem hygienic. The butter was uncovered at the buffet with insects all around it. The lobby and corridors were dusty and covered in fingerprints, so the first impression was already poor. We stayed one day with our family, and the room and bathroom were in terrible shape. The walls had damaged paint and visible fungus, the cupboards were covered in white fungus, and there was a strong fungal smell throughout the room. It was so uncomfortable and unhygienic that we couldn’t adjust to it. The bathroom was especially bad. The shower was completely rusted, and rusty water came out when we turned it on. The old toilet bin was broken and wouldn’t open properly, and the bathroom was dirty. This is not acceptable for a family stay. It was a horrible experience and not worth the money at any price, even with a large discount. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel.
