Oyo 18976 Mascot Inn

The room was about what I'd expect for the price, with A/C, an acceptable toilet, and a good bed. The TV didn't work, though, and the staff were rude and arrogant, with no professionalism. I'd booked an offer on OYO, but at the hotel they said there was no booking and wanted double the amount. Luckily OYO customer care sorted it out and I got a room. I'd call the place average.

After 1.5hrs of hassle, I had to find another room and pay double what I'd originally paid. OYO couldn't move me to another hotel nearby, though they offered to refund the booking. I'd travelled around 20 hours and arrived to check in at 1:30AM, with my stay prepaid through OYO. The staff first offered a non-ac room instead of the ac room I'd booked. When they learned it was prepaid through OYO, they said the room had been damaged by rain and denied my check-in. I strongly believe Mascot inn isn't interested in working with OYO. My sincere advice is never book this hotel through OYO.

They don't give you the room you booked, but charge the same price and tell you to accept a non Ac room instead of the air conditioned one. The staff are highly indecent and unprofessional, with no manners or understanding of how to deal with customers. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if booking through oyo app. If black stars were an option, I'd give it 5/5. Worst hotel ever. Never book.

I arrived at Mascot inn again at 12pm, having paid, and OYO still didn't provide me with a room. I'd already had to book another hotel for six hours, from 6am-12pm, because the place was so messy when I first got there. I don't know why OYO deals with hotels like this. Their service was poor, and even after knowing what the problem was, they couldn't resolve it. I blame OYO and will take the issue to court, since both my career and my time were affected. I'd booked two days ahead and had confirmation from an OYO customer care executive for early check-in. I was prepared to pay the extra charge.
