The Sea View

My room was spacious and the staff were kind, helpful, and courteous, and the property itself is beautiful. Still, several things affected my stay. At check-in I was in a hurry and asked reception for an iron and ironing board, but they took about 25 minutes to arrive. When the staff member brought them, I noticed a female hair on the bed and pointed it out. At around 7:30 a.m. the next morning, reception called to ask for the iron and ironing board back. I was on holiday and still asleep, so the early call over a non-urgent matter was disappointing. I also found that the dental kit in the room had expired a month earlier, which made me question the room inspections and quality checks. At check-out I was told the manager would arrive within an hour. I wanted to give my feedback in person, so I waited nearly two hours. Then I was told the manager would be delayed another two hours because of an emergency. I understand emergencies happen, but I wish they had told me sooner instead of after I’d spent so much time waiting. Before leaving I asked the manager to contact me, but I still haven’t received a call or follow-up. I’m sharing this because I think the hotel has a lot of potential and many positive qualities. The staff were genuinely pleasant, but cleanliness, product checks, guest comfort, communication, and follow-up matter. We pay for comfort, quality service, and peace of mind. I enjoyed parts of my stay, but these issues affected my overall experience. I hope the feedback helps improve things for future guests.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the hotel has good facilities for both family trips and business visits. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Service was excellent, and the food had great quality with lots of delicious choices. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Mangalore and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Looking forward to coming back!

The corridors have had plastic and litter lying around since yesterday, and clearly haven’t been vacuumed. Phones go unanswered. I called four times after dinner to ask for clearance, but nobody answered or came. The next day there was no housekeeping until 6:30 PM. The front desk said they were too busy, and it was only after I went and sat in reception that the room was cleaned. The coffee kettle didn’t work, and complaining twice got no resolution. Terrible cleanliness and service. There’s no sea view by far. If you’re used to better hotels, don’t come here.

The hotel is on the main road in Ladyhill. The rooms were neat and clean, and breakfast was sumptuous. There were good options for lunch and dinner too. I had a pleasant stay.
