Cavern Wayanad

I left as soon as I arrived. The property looked neglected, and there was no proper reception, cleanliness, or support. Staff were rude and unhelpful, with no one offering guidance. The basic amenities and facilities shown in the photos were missing, and nothing seemed properly arranged. I cancelled at the gate and felt the travel there had been a waste. Definitely not worth booking.

The safety problem in the pool was serious: a broken tile cut one of our team members badly enough to need three stitches, and another person was injured too. The pool tiles felt unsafe, and after the rain there was a bad smell throughout the property. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty as well. Cleanliness and safety basics need attention, and although there’s plenty of room to improve, those basics still aren’t being handled. Not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I arrived and chose not to stay. There wasn’t any basic comfort arranged, and the hospitality was very poor.

The stay was great value, with peaceful surroundings and lovely views. It felt safe, though the small forest setting puts it a bit away from the city centre. The staff member was humble and polite, and kept in touch from the time we reserved, guiding us through the trip until we reached the property. My main issue was that the bedsheets and bathroom towel had stains and didn’t seem very clean.
