Rangalaya Royal

I really enjoyed the Chicken Kari Soru, and the food was delicious, though the portions felt a little smaller than at other hotels. Ms. Sangeetha gave us warm service, and Ms. Poomani did an excellent job with housekeeping. My room was neat and clean, and I had a pleasant stay on my business trip.

Pastel Poetry stood out for its varied menu, and the South Indian breakfast buffet is often praised for its range and freshness. The Dremus Alco Lounge also offers a refined place for drinks and snacks, which is uncommon at many local 3-star properties. The spacious rooms are a plus, with Majestic, Royal, and Duke options. Their modern interiors are clean, and amenities include quality linens, air conditioning, soundproofing, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, safety lockers, tea and coffee makers, and minibars in most room types. On Katpadi-Vellore Road, Rangalaya Royal is convenient for visitors to VIT University, CMC, and the Golden Temple. It's about 2-3 km from Katpadi Junction Railway Station and similarly close to VIT. The 24-hour check-in and check-out policy helps if your train arrives late or your schedule is unpredictable. Staff are generally polite and professional, from check-in to room service. Parking can be tight during busy wedding seasons because of the adjacent Rangalaya Wedding Hall, but security and valet staff are usually proactive. I see it as a strong mid-range option, particularly for families and business travelers who value cleanliness, room size, good food, and a central location.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the receptionist kindly let me know the room I'd booked should be comfortable. For a small extra charge, he upgraded me. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Medu Wada.

The restaurant is open, the rooms are well kept, and room service is very good. Mohan did an excellent job with housekeeping.
