The quiet setting makes the name Poorna Bird Song fit, you can hear the birds, with the Nerul river backwater and an infinity pool behind the house. We also liked the views from the two balconies and had fun cooking late at night. Prabhat, the property manager, looked after us really well and kept us company and helped during our Goa trip. I stayed here with my friends last month, and it was one of our most memorable experiences. If you want a peaceful spot with lots of facilities to spend a few days and have some time to yourself, Poorna bird song is a good place.

We enjoyed the pool, games in the house, the lake view, and comfortable rooms with balconies. The owner added a personal touch to the services, and we especially liked the cheese chilli toast and hot chocolate from the in-house menu. Even in the off season, it was a lovely peaceful break from city life. It was a little hard to find because there was no sign outside. Still, it’s close to Love, Passion and Karma, one of Goa’s popular pubs, and near Calangute beach. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The food was delicious, and the decor had so much character and beauty. Anand and Prabhat really know how to host. I grew up in the South in the US, where hospitality is a big thing, and they made us feel like we were staying with family friends. During the monsoon, the main power kept cutting out. We sang karaoke on the backup generator. I’d absolutely recommend this place to friends!

The kitchen was beautifully stocked, and Prabhat was like a genie, making sure our requests were taken care of. Anand and Prabhat hosted us for four days and three nights, serving great food, sharing lots of good conversations and suggestions for places nearby, and making us really comfortable. The five of us sisters came from different places for a getaway, and we spent more time at the BnB than out partying. We played board games, relaxed by the pool, ate great food, and had an amazing time. Anand and Prabhat were warm and hospitable, and even mailed us the things we’d left behind. Thanks for an amazing stay :)
