They say outside food isn’t allowed, yet they couldn’t fulfil our chicken dum biryani order and ended up bringing it in from outside to serve us. The service has changed a lot and gone badly downhill. When we ordered evening snacks, they couldn’t provide tea, coffee, or soup. Breakfast was very basic and disappointing: idly, plain or onion dosa, and no boiled eggs. I can’t explain how much their standards have slipped. Better avoid this stay if you’re planning to come with family.

I agreed to pay Rs 1500 for a half-day extension after being told check-out would be 11:30 AM because I booked through Make My Trip. The hotel policy, I was told, was a 24-hour stay, and I’d asked to leave after 4:30 PM. Then at 4:40 PM, the receptionist called in a raised voice and said it was already 5 o’clock and I had to check out. I had paid for the extra half-day, I wasn’t staying for free. I won’t visit again. With staff behaving like that, I guess it’s no surprise the hotel is almost empty.

The food was okay, but the service was horrible, and getting hot water for a shower was a problem. It’s a well-connected budget hotel, though it’s quite old and could use an upgrade. Cleanliness was okay. There’s plenty that needs improvement. The staff was to handle.
