Some guests have enjoyed the food or breakfast. People also describe staff as courteous, helpful, and responsive, and some find the hotel decent value when the stay goes well, especially for a short visit or on a budget. A lot of reviews mention rooms that are clean and maintained to an acceptable standard, with working basics like AC and hot water. Its central location near the railway station, bus stand, and other transport makes arrivals and departures convenient.

At checkout today, management billed me extra for lipstick stains and dust on the towels we used. They said washing them needed extra chemicals and labour, and that we'd damaged their towels. I paid the bill, but this was the messiest checkout I've had, even compared with stays at 3-star and 5-star hotels in Karnataka, Andhra, West Bengal, Hongkong, and China, where I stayed for 42 days last year. I'm a business traveler and was shocked to be charged for using the hotel's precleaned white towels. If guests aren't meant to use them, management should say so. They insulted me and spoke arrogantly, and I won't drop the issue. Hotels should wash towels and linen after every occupancy. I paid Rs.4200 for the suite, yet the management focused on squeezing money out of me over stains while the room itself was a bit untidy. The hotel claims to be 3 star, and has cleanliness and modern interiors, but it is just kubera grand. There weren't basic supplies like a dental kit, toilet paper, tissues or paper napkins, or a 1 ltr water bottle per person for a full-day stay. The breakfast area had no dining table, just handleless plastic chairs. The room also lacked a neat floor mat. They should provide the basic amenities and a comfortable setup. No 3 star hotel should have that kind of dining area without a table, or lack a dental kit and floor mat. This is Hotel Sree kubera grand's hospitality toward repeat customers.

The room had a comfortable bed, a modern interior, and a separate place to work with good Wi-Fi, which suited someone working or studying. Staff were informative, and there's an in-house kitchen so you can order food to your room. Breakfast was authentic South Indian food, and the tea and coffee are a must-try. I had a wonderful stay and a good experience overall.

The meeting room is tiny, though it can just about fit 100 people. Its layout works better for a round-table conference than a presentation. Food was average, neither bad nor excellent, and the lift capacity is limited too. All in all, an average experience.
