Adaaran Ocean Homes by OYO Rooms

We had to look for another hotel at 8pm after spending an hour pleading with the staff and owner to honor our OYO booking, without success. The staff tried to seem helpful by suggesting other nearby hotels, but it felt like they were trying to trick us. Be careful, they don't honor bookings made in advance through OYO.

My guests stayed here for a day and said the rooms were clean and well maintained, but there was no drinking water, no geyser for a hot bath, and no cupboard hangers. Those should be standard in a guest room. I would have given it four stars, but when I returned the key, the office guy said something I couldn't understand, took my phone, scrolled through reviews and ratings, then posted a five-star rating and review under my name. That was bad manners and a negative attitude, so I lowered my rating to three.

I paid 1700/- through the OYO app, and OYO didn't ask for anything more, but the hotel charged us extra for no reason and gave no bill. We didn't take a single extra thing, not even a water bottle. The TV and shower didn't work, and they wouldn't let us go up to the roof for the sea view. The manager said he didn't have the key and couldn't give us a bill for the extra charge. I felt the hotel fooled me and took more money without providing anything. Please refund the extra amount I paid the hotel.

The cleaning lady was good, but the staff didn't seem to understand hospitality. I wouldn't recommend this place for couples or families.
