CannyStay G V Inn

We're from Tamilnadu, but we didn't feel any regional bias here. The manager and supervisor were good to us throughout, and the hotel is suitable for families. A nice place.

The peaceful atmosphere and cooperative staff made for a comfortable stay, with basic amenities in place. Cleanliness and maintenance could be better.

There was no remote for the room TV. The attendant came in, saw there was no set top box, and said he'd have to get one from another room. Since it was already night, I told him to leave it. The room was on the ground floor, sharing a wall with the food court. Until midnight, we could hear loud vegetable chopping, frying, and staff shouting. Cleanliness was mostly fine, but there were a few spots on the bed sheet. When I asked for a change, the attendant refused and said they were just water marks. They were still there the next morning, so they didn't look like water. He also refused to help me carry a bag or change the sheet, though he was happy to ask for a tip.

It was a quiet, otherwise good place to stay. But when we went out in Vizag, they moved all our luggage and personal belongings without telling us and left them outside another room. That room had no lock and no facilities besides a bathroom, not even mobile charging. I've never seen a place disregard privacy like that. The two stars are only for this issue.
