The dirty linen was a letdown. The sheets, pillowcases and blanket covers had stains, and when we asked for replacements, the sheets we got were torn. The dustbins were tiny too. I booked based on the public rating, but now I'm not sure it's genuine. For what I paid, the stay didn't feel worth it. The total was Rs 6000 for two nights, plus Rs 500 for the extra four hours after checkout. I booked through Goibibo for three adults and one child, and they charged for all of us. But the first room only suited two adults. They said they'd add a bed for the third adult, but it was just a mattress to put on the floor at night, and there wasn't space for that either. We had to move to a larger room, which happened to be vacant. Goibibo didn't let us choose that room in advance. The owner agreed to an extra Rs 700 per night for the larger room, but at checkout the receptionist said it was Rs 1200 per night, plus Rs 500 for staying four hours past checkout. The double beds were 4×6 each, and I didn't think a room with those beds was worth Rs 3000 per night.

The location was good, but service was only so-so. The room floor wasn't cleaned regularly, and the bedsheet and bed cover weren't properly clean either. We went as two families during this year's Puja vacation in October. We checked out an hour late and politely asked them to apply the extended-time charge for one room instead of both. They wouldn't make that concession and stuck rigidly to their policy. Think it over and decide for yourself.

The rooms were looked after properly, though they're not spacious. There's enough room for one or two people. The location is good, with slum area on one side of the hotel and good surroundings on the other sides. Overall, it's a good hotel to stay in.

Apart from the size, everything is great. The room is almost all bed, with only a little space to move around, and the cupboards are squeezed in so tightly they can't even open all the way. Still, it's a very good place to stay.
