Dolphin Hotel

The restaurant team made dining a real highlight during our holiday from 22 December to 5 January. Narashmin, the F&B Manager, and Aparna were warm, attentive, and professional, and went above and beyond throughout our stay. We had a relaxing, comfortable break at the Dolphin Hotel and enjoyed most of our visit. The front office could have handled checkout and our questions about the checkout time more clearly and in a more customer-friendly way for rooms 318 and 319. Aside from that, we were happy with the experience and appreciate the team's efforts. We’d consider staying again and hope front office service improves.

The pool was clean and well maintained, and the gym had all the essential equipment. Both were easy to use and added a lot to our stay. What really stood out was how the staff treated us. Everyone greeted us warmly, and their politeness felt natural. They handled requests patiently and respectfully, always with a smile. I’ve never had a hotel staff experience that felt so consistently good across every interaction. The whole place had a warm, professional feel, with a guest focused approach and strong service. If we come to Vizag again, we’ll choose this hotel.

You may spend a little extra getting to RK beach because of the location, but everything else was amazing. The rooftop restaurant on the 7th floor had a great menu, food, and ambience. Breakfast, the facilities, and the staff were all wonderful. A really nice hotel and good value for the money.

The food was good, and the swimming pool was well maintained, but the service was a letdown. I booked directly through the hotel portal and expected more from the premium package. It included buffet breakfast and dinner at Cascades, a welcome drink, and a fruit basket, chocolate platter, and freshly baked cookies. None of those promised extras arrived, even after I reminded housekeeping and reception several times. When I raised it again at checkout, the staff didn’t seem concerned. The room still hadn’t been cleaned when I got back from sightseeing at about 2:30 PM, so I had to call housekeeping. The staff there were polite and helpful, but the carpet was very dirty and cleanliness overall was poor. Compared with another nearby hotel where I’d stayed before, the hospitality here was much worse. I hope management pays more attention to guests who book these packages.
