The restaurant was good, and the hotel itself felt comfortable and pleasant. Inside, it was clean, spacious, well cared for, and had nice views. Its location in the hospital area may not suit tourists hoping to be near major sights. If that isn't your main concern, it's a lovely place to stay.
I’ve stayed here twice while my mother had hospital visits nearby, and the location felt safe and very convenient for that. My first room was Classic, but the bathroom wasn’t satisfactory, so I moved up to Premium and found it much better. The staff were friendly and quick to respond. There aren't many places to eat nearby, so I used the hotel restaurant; breakfast included with the stay was okay. It worked well as a comfortable, practical base for hospital visits.
The staff were really accommodating when I asked to check out in the evening after booking for one day, and they offered me a good price. I appreciated that. I stayed at Casa Lorven Hotel for a day and a half, and the calm, clean atmosphere made it comfortable. The room was spotless and well kept, with enough space for two and a decent city view. The location near Hanumanthawaka was convenient too. Breakfast is worth choosing. Friendly service, good cleanliness, and good value made this a pleasant, homely stay in Visakhapatnam.
Free parking in the basement or out front made things easy, and the hotel is only a short drive from Kailasagiri and Tenneti Park Beach. Our room was tidy, clean, and well maintained, with good housekeeping that helped us relax. The food was decent in both quality and taste. Rates seemed very reasonable compared with nearby hotels, so it was good value. We had a comfortable stay, found the service friendly, and would happily return and recommend it.
Check-in took 45 minutes, and the room situation was awful. I had prepaid through Agoda for a non-smoking Premium Double. Room 209 reeked of tobacco, so I was moved to 309, where the fuse box sparked and smoked and the power went out as soon as we checked in. Room 409 looked unused and unsanitized, with coffee spilled over the table, roaches everywhere, and broken cabinet doors. The receptionist said those three rooms were the hotel's premium suites. Since it was already late and I had paid in advance, I asked for at least a decent room and eventually went back to 209 around 9:30 pm. I opened the windows and door for 30 minutes to clear the tobacco smell, but cockroaches were still all over the cabinets and bedding. The in-house restaurant stopped taking orders at 10:15 pm. At about 9:45 I ordered buttermilk and two dine plates. After waiting until 10:50 and calling the restaurant three times, I cancelled and had to eat the food I'd brought from home out of plastic bags. A staff member then arrived trembling with the order and said it had been added to my bill, even after I told him I'd cancelled. I checked out at 7 am. A deeply frustrating stay, and I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone.
