The food was good, and clear ingredient labels at the restaurant made a big difference for us. My kids have chronic eczema and allergies to many ingredients, so with the labels and staff help, we could choose what was safe without the usual stress of eating out with children. The hotel gave all four of us complimentary breakfast throughout our stay, which was a nice surprise, and we left with lovely memories of the restaurant. We traveled with our family, including two young kids, and felt cared for from start to finish at Fairfield by Marriott, Vizag. Booking by phone through their official reservation number was easy. Before we arrived, I asked the front desk for an extra bed, and Thrishti responded quickly and assured us it would be arranged. The welcome was pleasant, and it was ready when we got there. My younger child also insisted on having a fan, so the team thoughtfully brought a table fan without making a fuss. Room service was handled well. Rajalakshmi and Shakib kept the room clean and brought essentials on time without needing reminders. Whenever we contacted the front desk, Sravani was helpful and supportive. At checkout, Prathiva surprised the kids with two bags of cookies, muffins, and other treats for the long journey. Since my younger one loves tiramisu, they also quickly arranged a thank-you cake with tiramisu. That personal gesture really touched us. It was our first stay at Fairfield, and we were completely satisfied with the hospitality, service, and food. We'd recommend it to anyone visiting Vizag, especially families with kids. Thanks again to the whole Fairfield team.

Loved the rooftop area, and the location made it easy to get around and explore. The room was clean and really comfortable, with top-notch service throughout. Had a fantastic stay at Fairfield by Marriott! ✨💯👍🏞️

The room move was handled professionally, and the staff helped transfer my luggage. Still, having to relocate to another part of the same floor just because the room was too warm was a hassle. The thermostat was locked, and I couldn't turn it down, so I asked to move in the hope of finding somewhere cooler. When maintenance came to look at the problem on Feb 1st, I was told the hotel's set temperature was 23°C because it was considered enough for everyone. That doesn't account for how differently people sleep, and 23°C is much too warm for a restful night for many guests. At Marriott's price point, the room should adjust to the guest's comfort. Guests shouldn't have to pack up and move because they can't control the temperature. This felt more like a stay at a budget, low-star hotel with limited facilities than the premium experience I expect from Marriott. A standard setting can't meet the different needs of international travelers, and asking a guest to move rooms over a locked thermostat is an unnecessary burden, even when staff help with the bags. I hope the hotel reconsiders this policy and lets guests control their own comfort.

We didn't feel like going out for dinner, and the meal here turned out just right. Breakfast was great for the price, too. Surajit showed us the South Indian coffee drink, which was a real treat for me as a Westerner. The room was comfortable and had good AC.

Tharshi, Sravani, Chef Debender, and Chef Pinky all deserve a special mention for their kind service and delicious food. I might have missed a few names, but the whole team helped make our stay memorable. The rooms were beautifully kept and comfortable, and everyone was warm, professional, and attentive. A smooth, enjoyable stay at Fairfield by Marriott Visakhapatnam. Highly recommended for a premium stay in Vizag.
