Hotel Chandra's

The food was so bad that I joked you'd stay full for a week after eating it, with what seemed like too much soda in the rice. Cockroaches were around too. The staff and receptionists were awful. The bald headed fellow ( kaala Anand) had no basic manners for treating guests, and the receptionist sooda girl couldn't pronounce “madam.” Even after we'd paid the full 2400 rs, they kept pressuring us for more money and repeatedly said the owner was asking for it. With a restaurant and hotel that big, it sounded as if the owner needed our payment to build an even bigger hotel, buy assets and pass them to the next generation. I wouldn't recommend this place. I don't feel like giving even one star to this stay.

The waiters gave us answers with an attitude whenever we asked for anything, and didn't seem to care about customers. Service was very poor, and I had a really bad experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Even during snack time, I'd rather watch a movie than go there.

We came with friends and family and waited over an hour for our dishes. People who arrived after us got their orders first. When the food finally came, we were told the restaurant was closing and we had 10 minutes to decide whether to order anything else, even though we hadn't started eating yet. When we confronted them, they blamed us, saying they had served us last. The service was poor in other ways too. They didn't bring spoons, glasses or tissues, and the waiters had a very bad attitude.

Lunch with my family was a delight. We tried the Veg Thali, which had an authentic Andhra Cuisine taste, and the hospitality was lovely. We're going to visit again.
