OYO 1661 Hotel Athidi Grand

The water problem was the worst part of my stay. I paid ₹1700 for what was described as the best room, but the water issue was serious. Management didn’t properly deal with it or fix it. They actually told me to collect water from the shower in a bucket and use that, and it took an extremely long time to fill one bucket. I have photos and videos as proof. I can’t understand how those conditions are acceptable. The room listing said king-size bed, and I paid in full expecting one, but after check-in they gave me two separate beds. That was disappointing and misleading. The AC was also a letdown. When I asked for the remote, they told me there wasn’t one. The unit didn’t work effectively, and the only cool air came from the window. This was the worst place I’ve stayed among all the 3-star hotels I’ve visited. Management gave no proper response, and my money was completely wasted. I strongly suggest spending less than ₹1000 at a better hostel or hotel with better facilities and service. Confirm everything before booking, or you could lose your money like I did. My rating is 1 star, and even that feels too generous.
