Oyo 5362 Hotel Spar Grand

We had to stay for three nights with family after a nearby hotel cancelled on us. I hadn't checked the online reviews first, and we suffered for it. The rooms were extremely dirty, insects crawled around inside, and even basic courtesy and facilities were missing. Management seemed interested only in making money from unsuspecting guests. Even 500 rupees is too much for this place. Please check the reviews before booking.

We booked a month ahead, but our online reservation was cancelled right when we arrived to check in. Then they charged us three times for the same room. There was no room service during our three-day stay, and the staff were uncooperative, with several other problems too. A very poor experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We asked for a triple-bed room, but the manager said the hotel was full and gave us a double-bed room with an extra mattress on the floor instead. He charged 2800 rupees, even though the room normally costs only 1600 to 1800. The manager wore a chain around his neck and a green ring on his finger. I think he was a scoundrel for trying to charge double.

The staff were rude and had no professional manners, and there were no facilities. I stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days and felt punished the whole time. The room was very hard to stay in because it was dirty and full of bedbugs in the mattress.
