Treebo Rushi Grand, 1 km to Rushikonda Beach

We were charged ₹1700 a night, though the room we were moved to was listed online for ₹1400, which didn’t feel worth the price. We’d booked here while staying in Vizag. The first day’s room was really nice and had a beautiful view, so we were happy with it. From day two, though, the hotel said it was no longer available and shifted us to KVR INN, saying the price and quality would be the same. The replacement room was much smaller and unclean, and the washroom smelled. Its hangers were broken, and the washroom spray gun didn’t work properly. The experience was very disappointing after such a good start. I hope management is more transparent with guests and looks into this.

The hotel is near rushikonda beach, within walking distance, though it’s a bit off the main road. We had a very good stay overall. The room tariff felt a little high at first, but after speaking with the owner, the charges were reduced.

The hotel offers tea or coffee complimentary, but I was still a little upset about the service. The rooms are average, and no one seemed to care when we reported that the bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working. One or two room keys also didn’t work. Our friend ran into that problem, and I can’t understand why it would take so long to repair a key.

There was a fungus smell in the room and on the pillows. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, the main door wouldn’t stay shut, the wallpaper was torn, and the beds were poorly maintained. For the price of a star hotel, this wasn’t even worth a local lodge. The lower rated reviews are real. Absolutely unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t visit or book here again.
