Fabhotel Brij Kaushal

I travelled all the way from Surat for Janmashtami and paid a hefty amount, but this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. The rooms were shabby and poorly maintained, nothing like the misleading pictures. Staff were rude and unprofessional, with no hospitality. The location was terrible too. Everything is far away, even ISKCON is 1.6 km away. A dharamshala would honestly have been a much better choice. A complete waste of money and a pathetic experience. Definitely not recommended.

The staff were extremely helpful and the room was excellent, clean, tidy, and hygienic. It’s a peaceful location close to Prem mandir and Banke Bihari temple. The property isn’t on the main road, but that’s only 800m away, and e-rickshaws are easy to find. Prices are under 1.5k per night. There are also asharam etc at lower prices, so I’d suggest comparing first. You can book without a second thought.

Everyone I spoke with was pleasant, polite, and very helpful. Breakfast service and cleaning of the breakfast area need work, and the bedsheets and towels should be clean. The staff seem like they’d do even better if management improved the quality.

The atmosphere was amazing, and I’ve stayed in many hotels and resorts. Hotel brij kaushal is one I’d call good, with good room service, hygiene, and staff conduct. Receptionist Prem Sharma is kind and humble, with a very nice, helpful, welcoming nature.
