Hotel Jyoti Palace Vrindavan

The bathroom was clean but had a bit of a smell, and the receptionist wasn't very responsive. Still, the staff helped with cleaning. The room was neat and clean, and I stayed with a friend. I paid ₹1000 for 24 hours without negotiating. It's very close to Banke Bihari ji Temple.

My family ended up waiting for over an hour, then got a very tiny, uncomfortable room and were told to stay there for the night while still being expected to pay. The staff had first said to wait an hour because the room wasn't ready, even though I had booked and confirmed well in advance. I called the hotel staff and Oyo, but neither helped. I booked through Oyo for my family, and after this experience I don't think I'll use it again. It can't be trusted. I wanted to give a negative rating, but had to give at least one star as alms.

The overall stay wasn't good. The room was tiny, and the bathroom was even smaller. They switched off power to the AC and bathroom in the middle of the night. When I asked, they said the light phase had gone, so we had to bathe using a mobile flashlight. The TV didn't work either.

It's well located for Banke Bihari temple, and shops and food places are nearby, so you can find what you need around the rooms. The hotel itself doesn't serve food. Rooms are basic, but it's fine for an overnight stay. Thank you.
