Kadamb Spritual Stay

The name shouldn't be Kadamb, it should be How To Scam People. This place looked nothing like the pictures. We had no towels, and room service didn't answer when we called. There was nobody to help take our luggage downstairs, and the power went out several times in six hours. I wouldn't recommend it. An ashram would be a better place to stay.

There was no one around to help with luggage or even basic guest needs, and the service was terrible. The breakfast area was so dirty and unhygienic that we couldn't eat there. We had repeated power cuts within a few hours, and the lift got stuck several times, which felt unsafe. The room locks also didn't work properly. The pool was disgusting, with wrappers floating in it, no chlorine, and monkeys coming in to swim at night. The bathroom had crawling lizards and cockroaches, broken walls, and what seemed to be a damaged sewage system. The AC barely worked. There were no towels, and room service ignored our calls or didn't answer at all. The rooms were filthy and badly maintained, nothing like the online pictures. There was no difference at all between the so-called deluxe and super deluxe rooms. From start to finish this felt like a scam and was one of the worst hotel stays imaginable. Save your money and avoid it. Honestly, even an ashram would be better than this so-called resort.

Outside noise went on nonstop, so getting any rest was impossible. The bathroom was the worst part, dirty, smelly, and badly maintained. The walls were damaged, with peeling paint everywhere, and most plug points were broken, which made charging a phone difficult. Basic maintenance seems to be ignored. Not worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location was awful. The road is so congested it took 20 minutes to walk 400 meters. The rooftop restaurant food was subpar, and the rooms were in terrible shape: the AC didn't work, the bedding was dirty, and the bathrooms smelled. This so-called resort is actually an apartment building. The website photos are misleading. Look elsewhere, you'll regret choosing this place.
