MVT Guest House

The spiritual feel here was a big part of why we enjoyed our three days at MVT. We paid almost 8000 per night for a premium family room, which is more than some good 5 stars charge, but we wanted a decent, clean-minded spiritual crowd in Vrindavan, and that atmosphere felt worth the price. The open areas, location next to iskon temple, tasty food, nice room, and helpful staff all made the stay beautiful. The place was easy to find, and although I’d read negative reviews before booking, I didn’t find the problems described there. One mattress in P3 needs replacing. Also, there were blood spots in the WC unit when we checked the room. Cleaning was done immediately, so it wasn’t a problem, these things happen. The room should be checked before it’s handed to the next guest. Still, I’d rate our stay five stars. My thumbs up to MVT. Jai shree krishna.

The hotel itself was calm and spiritual, and the room and bathroom were clean and well kept. Staff were courteous, and the restaurant served delicious, simple food that wasn’t overly spicy. It closes by 10 PM, though, so plan around its strict hours. Getting there was tricky during our visit. Police had blocked Shri Kripaluji Maharaj Road near the multi-level parking area, so we left the car there and took an e-rickshaw for the remaining roughly 2 km. That could be awkward with children, luggage, or an older traveler. The location is otherwise excellent, just behind the ISKCON temple, with Prem Mandir within walking distance. Our room was on the second floor, but the lift only reaches the first. We had to cross a corridor and use stairs, which was a little inconvenient with an elderly family member. It’s a peaceful, well-placed stay if you’re prepared for some arrival hassle and limited accessibility.

The room we were first given was outside the property, even though the MakeMyTrip listing showed rooms inside the main building. That mismatch felt misleading and caused unnecessary stress. When we raised it, the staff were kind and upgraded us, which we appreciated, but accurate photos and descriptions should be shown for budget rooms so this situation doesn’t happen to future guests or staff. Aside from that, our stay was comfortable, the property was clean, green, and cozy, and the food was genuinely good.

We stayed just one night at MVT Vrindavan Guesthouse, but left with lovely memories and a sense of inner peace. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a homely feel. Staff were courteous and helpful, and the surroundings had Vrindavan’s spiritual calm. It made a wonderful, peaceful family stay. 🌸
