OYO 12143 Hotel SKD

It's set away from the main road, but it's the kind of hotel that makes you want to stay. The rooms were clean, the washroom was good, the TV worked, and reception was helpful. We arrived in scorching heat, and while we were speaking with the receptionist, a waiter brought us glasses of cold water. A small gesture, but it felt nice. Also, if you carry treasury with you, there are vaults in the rooms.

We had no complaints about the staff, food, or stay during our two nights and three days here with family. The staff were warm and helpful, including with sightseeing and nearby temples. There's a restaurant downstairs, with room service, and the food was fresh and cooked properly. The rooms were maintained well, bathrooms were clean, and the ACs worked properly. It felt like a good fit for a family stay.

We booked a room for 1500 rupees a night for the 26th and 27th. The manager told my father that only an executive room at 2500 rupees was available for the 27th, so we would need to pay 4000 for two nights. The following day, though, he said our room was free for the 27th too. We agreed to keep the same room, which meant the total should be 3000. When we asked for a refund, he said he would put the amount toward our next stay. Since we go to Vrindavan regularly, we accepted that. But when we called shortly afterward to book for the 31st, he refused to adjust it and said the bill was for 4000. He also wouldn't give us the hotel owner's or company's number so we could make a complaint. This feels unfair, and I'm being forced to send a legal notice.

We were there for a business trip. Nice place to stay.
