Pearl Suites at Omex Enternity

This was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at. We recently booked Pearl Suites at Omaxe Eternity, also called Omex Pearl, and the rooms were filthy and unhygienic. The blankets were in terrible condition, the room smelled of rats, and there was even a big rat in the bathroom. There’s no reception, cleaner or caretaker. One person hands over the keys, then takes no responsibility for any concerns. Please don’t stay here. It felt like a fraud and very risky.

After we arrived, the two men who had come to pick us up kept pressuring us to cancel our booking without explaining why. They arrived on a Splendor bike and scooty, acted without manners or hospitality, and seemed like locals running a side business rather than hotel staff. I can’t say for sure why they wanted us to cancel, but it raised serious doubts about the property’s legitimacy. The room sold for three people had one queen-size bed and a sofa, with no extra bedding, basic amenities or comfort. The property also wasn’t where it appeared to be online. It was 1.5 km inside a deserted corner of a society, away from the main road, restaurants and public activity. At night it felt isolated and dangerous. There was no reception, main gate, boundary or staff presence, so anyone could enter. No CCTV either. It felt unsafe to stay even one night, especially for families and women. I’m shocked Agoda and Booking.com show this as 8.8 Excellent. There was nothing excellent about the location, safety, management or hospitality. Either the reviews are fake or the platforms aren’t checking the reality. This isn’t a hotel, it’s a mismanaged setup where guests are misled and safety is compromised. Agoda and Booking.com should be ashamed to list it with ratings like that. Strongly not recommended for families, couples or solo travellers. Avoid it for your own safety.

I was charged as soon as I reached the room, but got no bill. There was no entry for me and nothing was signed in the register. The staff weren’t dressed properly or wearing ID cards, and they took a photo of my identity card. The hotel offered no car, auto or e-rickshaw to the main road, which is 1.5 km away. In the room, Tata Sky on the TV didn’t work, and I wasn’t given soap, shampoo, slippers or a dental kit. The washroom wasn’t clean, its taps were rusty and some weren’t working properly. The AC swing didn’t work either. The electricity kept cutting out, and overall it was a very bad stay.

The owner was cooperative and treated us very well. Our room was clean, and the location was good. I’d recommend staying here.
