Ule Ethnic Resort

We came to this lovely resort to adjust to the altitude before exploring Ladakh, and both the place and the people went beyond what we expected. When we unexpectedly needed medical care, the staff helped us through it. Geetaji's spa treatments were better than ones I've had in the US, and my skin still looks and feels amazing. We're so grateful to Ganeshji and everyone there for looking after us and for getting to know us during our stay. Julley!

Really lovely setting and property. The food was good, and the staff were always ready to help. We got attentive, personal care throughout.

The food and accommodation were excellent, and Mr. Ganesh and his team made the stay especially welcoming. Everyone was smiling and willing to help whenever we needed something. Ule Ethnic Resort sits in a peaceful spot near Leh, right by the river, with beautiful mountain and river views.

We used the camp as a base for three days of travelling. The cabins are basic but have what you need, with a modern bathroom and comfortable beds. The grounds are roomy, and the riverside setting is wonderfully quiet. From the shared area by the water, the view of the river and the Mountains is fantastic. We ate well too, with tasty local and European food at the restaurant. The homemade apricot jam was especially good, and the whole place had a pleasant feel. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. A couple of things weren't quite what I expected. There was no cell phone reception, so we had to use WIFI, which only worked in the lobby and restaurant. The massage area was plain and practical, without the meditative music, incense sticks, or aromatic oils I had imagined. We'd be happy to come back.
