Hill View Cottages by OYO Rooms

We booked a double room for three people for November 21 to 22, but when we arrived around midnight, they said they didn't accept bookings made through sites like Goibibo or MakeMyTrip. They claimed the listings were incorrect and said they'd asked the online promoters to remove the hotel. With no second option at that hour, we had to take a room there. I keep warning people not to book it through online sites because of this. They charged us 1350/- for one night, but the room didn't feel worth that price. The bed wasn't clean when we checked in. They gave us three pillows afterward but no extra bed. The location was nice and the room average. Hot water wasn't available around the clock; each time we wanted some, we had to ask them to switch on the heater. Service was very bad overall. The one upside was that there were no policies about checkout, so we chose to leave at 4:00 PM. They only had double rooms, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups of friends or families. I also wouldn't recommend it to couples, who should go at their own risk.

For a group of 8-10, this place is a great option to rent in yelagiri. You can get a whole 3BHK home with comfortable beds and attached bathrooms for much less than other resorts. They can also arrange freshly prepared food if you provide your own menu.

They ask for extra payment at checkout, there's no service, and drinking water isn't provided. The person in charge doesn't speak respectfully, and the resort doesn't look like it does in the pictures.

A pleasant, quiet spot near the boat house, and the price is cheaper. Mr. Ashwin made our stay wonderful. Hats off to Ashwin...😀
