Ags Holiday Resorts

The peaceful setting, greenery, and fresh air gave us a welcome break from city life. There was room for the kids to play, along with activities and facilities that kept everyone occupied. Our room was spacious and clean, with lovely views, and the staff were welcoming and quick to assist from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the freshly made meals, which were tasty and suited different preferences. AGS Holiday Resorts made for a relaxing family trip, and we'd be happy to return.

We were there on Jan 31, 2026. Dinner was a real highlight: the Paneer Butter Masala had a rich buttery taste, the mushroom noodles were yummy, and the Dal Khichdi was delicious. Breakfast was complimentary, with idli, dosa, vada, upma, pongal, fresh fruit, and watermelon juice. The rooms were spacious, restrooms clean, and parking convenient. The kids loved the play area, and there was a fire camp 🔥 too. Kumaravel at reception and Chellamuthu in the restaurant were both friendly and polite. Chellamuthu speaks Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.

The room had a lovely view, and both it and the bathroom were decent and clean. The pool was a nice extra, but the paid campfire was disappointing. We spent ₹2000 on it and ₹1000 on an audio-jack speaker. After dinner we arrived at 10 pm and were told sound could only be played until 10, though they said using the speaker at mid-low volume would be fine. A guest complained soon after we started, and we had to switch it off after about 30 minutes. It felt unfair to pay ₹1000 for so little music. The wood kept falling out of the poorly arranged fire pit, and staff took 45 minutes to come deal with it. They seemed inexperienced and focused on stopping noise after the complaint, so the mood became tense. The terrace seemed like the wrong place for a campfire if it disturbed other guests. We ended up enjoying it for just 45 minutes despite paying for the whole experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

We stayed with family. A room by itself is okay, but I wouldn't choose AGS if you expect respectful treatment or good service. The restaurant staff were very rude, and it felt like they might cheat customers. They first said à la carte was available, then told us it was buffet only when we got there. Before we ate, they even asked how much we planned to eat. I've never seen a restaurant behave that way. The buffet had only chapathi, rice, chicken curry, fish, ice cream, and paneer curry, and none of it tasted good.
