The downside is the noise: traffic is loud, and buses and cars honk through the night. Cleaning also needs attention, and service is quite slow. Prices rise sharply during the flower show, from rooms that cost 2000 rs to 5000 rs, and they still sell out. The resort is very close to the bus stand, about a 100 metre walk, with bakeries, cafes, and grocery shops nearby.

Our two-bedroom cottage cost around 8k for two nights, though I’m not sure that’s reasonable in the off season. The location is handy for the bus stand and sightseeing spots like the lake and park. Food service was frustrating: they only served people who had pre-ordered, and when we tried to dine in, they told us to wait, so we went out to eat. One day the heater didn’t work, and it took 30 minutes to fix. The rooms weren’t cleaned, and leftovers were still there when we checked out. They should replace the bed and pillow covers, too. I’d give it 3 out of 5.

We spent two days in a cottage, but the room was dusty and full of insects. The place was awful, and I wouldn’t recommend it to families.

I came back after staying here eight years ago, trusting that earlier experience, and booking again without checking turned out to be a terrible decision. The service itself wasn’t something I could complain about, but management needs to refurbish the property. The rooms were in an awkward state, the bedspreads were dirty and torn, and the bathroom flaps and cleanliness were bad and smelly. There were earthworms in the bathrooms. At 3k per night with no flexibility, it’s far too expensive for rooms in this condition. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who cares about cleanliness. I attached a photo of the room interior.
